David and Nancy Litch moved away from the beautiful views of Pikes Peak Colorado to the beautiful and vast views of northern Iowa early in 2003. They got to work right a way planting hundreds of grape vines on the family farm and restoring the neglected bank building they had bought. A winery is what they wanted to create and after two years they finally opened with Strawberry and Elderberry wine. Now eight years later they produce seventeen different types of wines. Some of the wines are made in small batches, such as Pear wine and Golden Raspberry wine. These tend to sell quickly.
We now are renovating an old milking barn located at the vineyard and are looking forward to producing new types of grape wines. Our customers look to us for unique wines with great quality. We try to deliver on these expectations every time.
